SERVER UPDATE - TUESDAY, 30 MAY 2017
NEW FEATURES
New quest system again! This one is called BetonQuest, and it will allow for much more creative, seamless quest experiences.
Purchaseable heads! Type /head or /heads to see all the heads you can buy. There are over 1,000 of them, and there will be more added all the time!
Arrow Trails! All donors and staff now have access to particle effect trails that stick to your arrows as they fly. Type /arrow to get started with using them!
Hats! You can now wear all sorts of awesome and/or silly things on your head. Type /hat to see what's available. More hats are going to be added on a rolling basis, so be sure to check the list of hats often!
Reverted back to the Pixel Reality resource pack. The one we were using was causing client-side lag on many people's computers. Pixel Reality is a lower resolution (which means it runs faster), but still looks great.
Write notes to yourself! Type /note <text> to leave yourself a note or a reminder, and then type /noteview to see your notes later. Never again will you forget where that abandoned mineshaft was, or who you invited to your town, or whatever else!
Editing the pose of an armor stand is now possible! Type /editarmorstand (or /eas for short) to get started. Make all sorts of epic poses and show them off to others!
Liquid Tanks! This is a really cool one. You can now make a Liquid Tank and store stuff inside it. Here's how to craft one:
Try to make one and see what kind of liquids (or other things...) you can put inside!
FIXED ISSUES
Build Battle is functioning again! We're still working on some issues that are causing matches to start with only 3 or 4 players at a time... but hey, if it works at all, that's better than before!
Issues with armor not being able to be removed should be fixed. Key words "should be".
COMING SOON
Automated Creative and Donor Plot assignments. The system for this works great, we just need to manually copy and paste every single existing plot over to a new world before we can enable it. Which is taking a very long time.
Something really, really big...
SERVER UPDATE - SATURDAY, 25 FEBRUARY 2017
NEW FEATURES
New quests plugin - ProQuests! The one we tried before was pretty lame. This one is way better. More and better quests will be available in the next 24 hours after this update post.
Fancy chat is now even fancier. You can now hover your mouse cursor over people's names, prefixes, and suffixes in order to see more details.
FIXED ISSUES
The live map on the website has had 1.11.x blocks added, and will now perform much better due to several internal cleanups.
PVP, CTF, Zone Domination, and Parkour arenas will no longer duplicate off-hand items.
Issues with inventories not being restored upon arena matches ending have been resolved.
CTF arenas will now give you a wool head again when you are holding a flag.
PVP, CTF, Zone Domination, and Parkour arenas will no longer drop duplicate items when players lose their last life.
Custom banners will now show their names properly when used with /showitem.
Mob Arenas will now set a default class, so you will no longer have to wait for all players to pick a class before being able to start the match.
Mobs in Mob Arena will no longer pick up dropped items.
COMING SOON
Mob Arena update - we now have access to a feature that could let us make an arena that lets you use your own items. Exciting!
SERVER UPDATE - MONDAY, 20 FEBRUARY 2017
NEW FEATURES
New command: /showitem. Now you can show the item you're holding to people without having to drop it! Usage details:
/showitem - Show the item you're holding to people within 10 blocks of you.
/showitem <player> - Show the item you're holding to a specific player only.
/showitem -w - Show the item you're holding to all players in the same world as you.
/showitem -all - Show the item you're holding to everyone on the server.
New major feature - QUESTS! This is still a big work-in-progress, so there isn't much to see yet. But the system is in place and it works well! Head to the Vendor Area at The Train Station to see what we have ready so far.
MobArena is back! There are two arenas available - /ma join 3 and /ma join Temple. More arenas, features, and mobs (including BOSS MOBS) on the way soon!
New server resource pack - Lithos! This resource pack is much smoother and less cartoon-ish than the previous one. The text font is also way easier to read!
FIXED ISSUES
All PVP, CTF, Zone Domination, and Parkour arenas have had scoreboards re-enabled.
All PVP, CTF, Zone Domination, and Parkour arenas have had their end-of-round routines configured for better performance and less lag. This means that lag spikes at the end of arena matches should be small or none.
Storm Crystal drop rates have been balanced and adjusted.
Behind-the-scenes improvemnts to chat rendering have resulted in a major performance boost.
COMING SOON
Entity/Animal locking! That's right, you will soon be able to lock animals and other entities just like you lock chests and doors.
GUI-based player shops are still in the works. There is a current issue with the shop system thinking everyone has 0 coins. This isn't the case, so we're trying to figure out why the shop system thinks that and how to actually get it to read how many coins each player has.
New worlds are still in the works. We'll keep you updated as to when and where they will be, how to migrate things from existing worlds before they're archived, and any other relevant info. Don't worry, you will have a very long time to migrate before old worlds are archived, and it will be very, very easy to do so.
Land claiming will return soon, but in a new, exciting form. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on to replace the old land claim system.
Did someone say skills...?
SERVER UPDATE - TUESDAY, 31 JANUARY 2017
NEW FEATURES
New command: /flip. Flip a table, or flip anything (including your friends) with /flip <something>.
Totem Trail! Donors of the appropriate level now have access to a new trail, which uses particles from Totems that can be found in Minecraft 1.11.x. You can find the new trail under Particle Trails in your /trails menu.
PVP, CTF, and Parkour arenas now have fancier scoreboards! This is a small change, but one that we've been hoping would happen for a long time. Scoreboards are now fully customizable by server administrators, and should now give a much better indicator of who's playing, how they are doing in the match, and how much of each match has progressed so far.
Zone Domination arena will now show the claim radius with a particle effect. We hope this helps players to understand when they are, in fact, inside a zone.
FIXED ISSUES
Logging into and logging out of the server should be quicker now, thanks to performance improvements from several updated plugins.
Fireworks will no longer damage players or blocks.
Regions of the server that were set to auto-heal were instead only refilling players' hunger bar twice as fast. This has been fixed - players will now have their actual health restored.
Item frames, torches, rotation of items inside armor frames, all horse and rabbit types (including llamas), lingering potions, and armor stands are now able to be tracked and rolled back by server staff members.
Ender chests will no longer incorrectly report that they are blocked from opening.
Jobs fixes:
Jobs will now transfer 100% correctly if a player has changed their username and then rejoins the server.
Players in the Brewer job should now be paid every time.
Potions will no longer lose data upon switching worlds.
Jobs will now pay for 1.11.x items and actions. This issue was caused by Mojang's renaming of all actions and all items in Minecraft 1.11.x without prior notice.
Players who attempt to cross a world's border at an extremely high height will no longer cause server-wide lag.
Build-Off actually works! It will no longer cause horrible chat spam, and teleports and region-based checks will function correctly and not leave players stranded in the arena after the game ends.
Llamas will now retain carpet color when they are respawned.
Zombie horses and skeleton horses will now retain their owners after being respawned.
Huge server-side performance improvements (which basically means "less lag") for:
Tab list
Ranks next to usernames (both in tab and above people's heads)
Announcements above the item hotbar
Titles when joining the server
Usernames on the multiplayer server MOTD (before joining the server) should now update correctly and much more quickly.
Somteimes, when coming back into view of a holographic display, players would be randomly disconnected. This has been fixed.
PVP, CTF, Zone Domination, and Parkour arena fixes:
Arenas will no longer mess with walking/flying speed.
Arenas will now give the correct items, and should no longer give duplicate items. Again, caused by Mojang updating all internal item names without notice.
Arenas should no longer let players join while a match is still ending.
Capture The Flag arenas will now give you a color-coded wool helmet again.
Arenas no longer have a chance of incorrectly setting players' game modes upon finishing or exiting a match.
Leather armor in arenas will no longer have enchantments removed if it is color-coded.
COMING SOON
MobArena will be returning soon! The arena system has been updated to actually run under Minecraft 1.11.x, so now it's just a matter of getting the arenas themselves working. New arenas might be on the way too...

NEW FEATURES
Storm Crystals are a new custom item that will drop very rarely from ores, obsidian, stone, and hostile mobs. They can be used at the new Vendor Area inside The Train Station (accessible via the /hub command) in order to upgrade tools, weapons, and armor to have very high stats.
The new Vendor Area inside The Train Station is now open! Come inside to find merchants to buy/sell from, ways to upgrade your items, and more. There isn't much there now, but more is on the way!
Player Shops are now a thing! Type /shops to access the shop interface and to create your very own shop. It's very self-explanatory - be sure to read all of the words it tells you after you type the command. You can also rent bigger shop space and pay more coins to become a Featured Player Shop in the list.
New Server Resource Pack has been implemented! We're going back to a previous pack, called Paper Cut Out, that was super popular previously on Intercraften. Click the name of the pack to go download it yourself for single-player!
Jobs and Economy Reset - Due to the nature of how our new economy-related features work, it was required to reset all jobs and coins to their default values. This helps ensure that the server economy will be balanced and fair into the future. Keep in mind that the other new features make it easier to get lots of coins, so it shouldn't take long to gain back what you had.
New command: /shrug. Fun times.
FIXED ISSUES
Users who did not have permission to use wing trails after receiving them from completing the Halloween Event are now able to use them.
Users who were experiencing You're not allowed to purchase this item. errors are now able to donate to the server.
Users attempting to donate for Junior Donor [D2] and [D3] who were experiencing an Invalid variable error are now able to donate towards the respective donor ranks.
Attempting to store a horse in a saddle while you have a full inventory will now deny with an error message instead of dropping the saddle on the ground.
Shields will now keep banner designs - they were previously being erased upon reconnecting to the server.
Users who were experiencing You are not whitelisted! errors after disconnecting while in the Halloween Event are now able to log in to the server.
The leaderboards in The Train Station will no longer cause bits of lag when they refresh every 60 seconds.
The chat filter systems have been updated to be a little more lax when saying usernames with more than 3 repeated characters.
COMING SOON
Hotfix for the Fisherman job to account for new fish types.
A complete Jobs overhaul, accounting for new blocks added to the game, and balancing coin/XP rewards to create a more fair server economy.
Once the server is able to update to Minecraft 1.11, a new set of survival worlds will be generated and old worlds will be gradually retired and archived. More on the world migration process in a future update.
